Jakarta DPRD Commission E Chairman, Imam Satria expressed his appreciation and pride for the achievements achieved by students from Jakarta who succeeded in winning the championship at Popnas XVI in Palembang.

Jakarta Becomes Champion in Popnas XVIAccording to him, the championship at Popnas XVI was a gift for Jakarta Acting Governor, Heru Budi Hartono. He hoped that those who succeeded in winning in every sport at Popnas XVI would become quality athletes in the future.
"Of course, Commission E is ready to support the needs of students who have made achievements at Popnas XVI, thus they will later become quality athletes to make the nation and state proud at international sporting events," he explained.
He also asked the Jakarta Youth and Sports Agency (Dispora) to synergize with the Education Agency (Disdik) to develop a series of coaching or training programs for students who are interested in sports.
"We (Commission E) are ready to support allocating a sports-specific coaching budget for students. Once again, the council is proud of the achievements of the students who brought the name of Jakarta at Popnas XVI," he stated.
